Later, he recevied his ophthalmic surgeon degree at the Hospital Nuestra Señora de la Luz I.A.P. in Mexico City, which is one of the best training centers for ophthalmologists and sub-specialists in Latin America. In this same hospital, he also received his subspecialty in orbit, eyelid and tear duct surgery degree.
